Swedish Massage | 60 mins | $100
Swedish Massage | 90 mins | $140
Swedish Massage | 30/60/90 mins | $40/$70/$100
This is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. With light to medium/firm pressure, the therapist uses different flowing strokes to rejuvenate, relieve stress and tension, improve circulation, and promote soul soothing relaxation of body, mind, and spirit. Each session can be tailored to the client’s specific needs and goals. Regular Swedish massage improves skin tone and texture, improves lymph function, increases oxygen in the blood, and decreases levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Best experienced as a 60 or 90 minute full-body massage; the therapist incorporates techniques such as gliding effleurage, kneading petrissage, and other frictional type techniques to loosen tight muscles and induce soothing relaxation. Areas massaged during a full-body session include the neck, arms, hands, legs, feet, back, and scalp when applicable. Each session includes hot towels. Modesty is always preserved and draping is always required.
Similar to Swedish Massage, deep tissue massage uses specific techniques and deeper pressure to reach buried layers of muscle tension, helping to release chronic areas of pain. The therapeutic style can have an overall relaxing effect, while increasing vitality and providing relief from pain. This type of massage is often slower in pace than Swedish, as moving too fast during a deep tissue massage could cause some discomfort. Deep tissue does not have to be painful, but some discomfort can be felt. For example, when there are trigger points (a tight area within the muscle that can radiate pain to other parts of the body) that need work. Trigger point techniques include periods of isolated pressure and release. Communication with your therapist during a deep tissue session is key, as different parts of the body require different amounts of pressure.
Best experienced as a 60 or 90 minute full-body massage; the therapist will discuss the areas causing the most pain and will determine if heat therapy (paraffin), or other pain relief creams/ointments (white flower, tiger balm, biofreeze) would be beneficial during the session. Areas covered during the massage are neck, arms, hands, legs, feet and back. Each session includes hot towels. When applicable and discussed, the glutes may be included as well. Modesty is always preserved and draping is always required.
*If you have areas that have been bound and causing chronic pain over a long period, you may require multiple sessions to see and feel desired results.
Hot Stone Massage | 90 mins | $120
This 90 minute Swedish Massage (see “THE CALM” for Swedish specifics) is a crowd pleaser for both those seeking deep relaxation, as well as those with areas of stubborn pain. The heat from the basalt stones has a sedative effect that can help in relieving chronic pain without the use of deep tissue techniques. Primarily used on the back, the hot stones help melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness, and increase circulation. The 90 minute session allows the client to slip into a state of deep relaxation, where stress is reduced and deep sleep can be induced.
The stones are heated to a bearable heat level. Always communicate with the therapist if the heat is too much. If you would like the hot stones used on an area other than the back/neck, please let the therapist know. Keep in mind the 90 minutes is designed to give an efficient full body massage, with the majority of time for the stones to be used on the back.
For expectant mothers 13+ weeks, a prenatal massage is an excellent complement to conventional or unconventional medical care during pregnancy. It is a safe and relaxing way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness of mother and baby. Using Swedish massage techniques (see “THE CALM”) with light to medium/firm pressure, prenatal massage can relieve backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches, and joint pains. It can also decrease edema (or swelling) and depression symptoms associated with hormonal changes. And lastly, prenatal massage relieves nervous tension and promotes better sleep.
Amani offers a few options for positioning the expectant mother comfortably during the massage. The traditional side lying method, wedge pillow under the back and head, and the innovative pregnancy bolster which allows the mother to lie face down. It is a plush bolster designed specifically for use in pregnancy massage. It has a large cut out for the belly, breasts, and face). Many clients find this extremely comfortable and a real treat to be able to safely lie “on” their tummy!
Our therapists that offer prenatal massage are very concerned with your safety and comfort. Please discuss all expectations, concerns, and questions before, during, and after the session.
*Reflex points on ankles and feet corresponding with the uterus and ovaries will be avoided.
Our feet do a lot for us; Sometimes we need to treat them to something special and deeply therapeutic. Not only does this 30 min session feel simply amazing for a part of the body that rarely gets that kind of attention. It can help with conditions such as plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and overuse aches and pains- but even more amazing, it can help detox the entire body and promote healing for every organ and nerve.
Our feet are like a map of our body. Every organ and system is represented and can be addressed through the feet. Using a technique that intricately covers the whole foot, thumb walking, reflexology helps to balance the nervous system by stimulating the nerve endings of the feet, which connect with the spinal nerves and their corresponding organs. It works with the circulatory system, breaking up congestion and deposits in the feet, which in turn help detoxify the body.
For holistic results, reflexology is best when received regularly. But even one session can help with acute issues like helping pass kidney stones, helping relieve constipation, addressing areas of the body that are injured can cannot be massaged directly (i.e. post surgery), or breaking up congestion in the lungs. The possibilities and results are endless. Each session ends with hot towels on the feet.

manual lymphatic drainage | 30/60/90 mins | $50/$80/$110
This is a gentle, non-invasive manual technique that has a powerful effect on the body. Using the technique Developed in France in 1932 by Emil and Estrid Vodder, Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure (less than 9 ounces per square inch or about 4 kPa, just enough to pump rather than flatten the lymph nodes) and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. It helps eliminate swelling by facilitating the movement of ‘stuck’ lymph back to the heart for circulation and elimination. Additionally, it helps free clogged vessels, so the lymph system can work better in the long run. Those with immune disorders, recent surgery, chronic infection, allergies, sickness, stress or depression can benefit greatly from this modality.
The 60 and 90 minute sessions addresses lymph nodes over entire body, while the 30 min session addresses those from the sternum and up. It is best when receiving MLD to undress completely, as even underwear can inhibit lymph flow. client will be properly draped and modestly preserved at all times. You can receive MLD up to 3x per week. The client is encouraged to drink plenty of water after. Slight detox effects could be felt.
*A doctor’s release is required for those seeking MLD to reduce swelling caused by fluid build up after cancer treatment.
raindrop technique | 60 mins | $120
This technique is unlike anything else. If you suffer from stress/anxiety/depression, chronic pain, an auto-immune disorder, scoliosis, or want to strengthen your immune system, the Raindrop might be just the thing to try. It is a light pressure, detoxifying massage using about $48 worth of Young Living essential oils which synergistically combine to reduce inflammation, support the immune system, relax stressed muscles, relieve the body of bone and joint discomfort, and so much more.
Here’s how it works: The cells that make up everything in our body are constantly communicating with one another. When everything is in alignment, the messages are clear and correct. When toxins from stress, the environment, medications, sickness, etc enter the picture, the messages get distorted. Enter the Raindrop. The amazing oils used during each session have incredible abilities to do 3 things: 1) clean off the receptor sites where messages are sent and received; 2) DE-program the wrong messages between cells; 3) RE-program the correct messages. What does this mean? It means that the same oils used on each person, will have different effects for each person, depending on what is out of alignment in each persons body. Amazing!
Valor, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Peppermint and Aroma Siez are applied to the feet using a technique called Vita flex (life through the reflexes) and to the spine in a “raindrop” like fashion. Specific techniques are then used to assure that the oils penetrate deep into the muscles and are picked up efficiently by the nervous system, to be carried through the entire body and to every cell. Clients often describe feeling like they have gotten a massage and an adjustment. This technique can have a detox effect that can vary from person to person and can even come in the form of an emotional release. This is all considered normal and healthy.
*Arrive hydrated and showered if possible. You will be asked to drink more water than normal after the service and asked to leave the oils on your skin w/out showering overnight- this is advised but not required for effectiveness.
If you have ANY allergies, please discuss with the therapist prior to the session.
